Swansea members chat with Premier Club Man of the Match Jason Price

It was Friday 25th January and Doncaster Rovers hosted visitors Swansea City at the Keepmoat Stadium.  It was set to be a battle between two of the top six clubs chasing promotion into The Championship.

The Doncaster and Swansea Premier Club staff had been liaising for several weeks in preparation for the eagerly anticipated visit of the Swans and the Swansea Premier Club members.

Swansea were looking forward to seeking revenge for the defeat they suffered in the early part of the season at the Liberty Stadium and their fans were eager to see a great game of football between two sides well placed for promotion.

After a 90 minute battle Swansea won the game comfortably with a 4-nil win against a 10 man Doncaster side.

Football aside, the Swansea Premier Club members who had travelled to the Keepmoat received five-star treatment from the Doncaster Premier Team.  Their night included champagne reception, behind the scenes tour and a 3 course meal in the exclusive Sponsors Lounge.

The Doncaster Team had also arranged hotel accommodation for their travelling guests who had made the lengthy journey, with their Official Hotel – The Holiday Inn, so the members could continue the party through to the next day! A great night was certainly had by all………
