Premier Club and Chamber of Commerce Working Closer Together - Premier Club

Two of the region’s leading business organisations are joining forces to entice new members.

The Premier Club and the Coventry and Warwickshire Chamber of Commerce are working closer together to boost membership levels.

Long-serving Premier Club member Tracey Jackson from Nuneaton-based Hygiene Solutions is the newest member of the Chamber after finding out more about its services from Premier Club manager Trudi Colledge.

“I have been a member of the Premier Club since the beginning because of the business opportunities and my customers love coming along to enjoy the hospitality,” Tracey said, who launched her washroom services company in 2001.

“I have decided to join the Chamber because of the networking groups. In the past, these kinds of events have been held early in the morning but as a single mum it is not possible for me to attend.

“I like the flexibility that the Chamber offers with lunchtime and early evening meetings which is much more convenient.

“In these current economic times, networking has become even more vital whether it is on match days or during the week.”

Julie De Thierry, sales executive at the Chamber, said membership levels at the Chamber are growing.

“We have noticed an increase in membership since the beginning of this year because many businesses recognise that although there is a recession, they need to go back to basics with regards to getting out and about and networking to promote their business,” she said.

“We will be working more closely with the Premier Club to maximise membership opportunities which should boost membership further.”

Trudi added: “We are always looking at ways in which we can add further benefits to our Premier Club packages and by working with the region’s leading business organisation, we hope that will encourage more people to join both groups.”
