A leading Coventry-based commercial property company has made a major new appointment.
Jonathan Moore has joined Shortland Horne from global property adviser DTZ as a director of investment agency.
Moore (31) has 10 years experience in the commercial property world after launching his career with James & Lister Lea in Birmingham.
He moved to DTZ after three years and spent seven years with the firm, most recently as an associate director in the investment agency team.
He said: “Shortland Horne has an excellent reputation in all aspects of commercial property work and I feel there is a real opportunity for the company to grow, not only because of the expertise the company has but also the undoubted potential there is in the city.
“Coventry’s location in the centre of the UK and its excellent transport links make it a natural home for commercial investment and the commercial regeneration schemes planned for the city will be of massive benefit to the wider region.”
Shortland Horne is involved with many major schemes across the city and region, including Belgrade Plaza, the Ricoh Arena and has recently been appointed joint agents by St. Modwen on Whitley Business Park.
Moore will be with Shortland Horne at the MIPIM property show next month, where the company is part of the Coventry partnership delegation.
David Penn, a director of the firm, said: “Jon has built up a wealth of experience and contacts from his time in Birmingham, particularly in the investment field and is a very valuable addition to the company.”
Moore was educated at King Henry VIII in Coventry, lives in Warwick and has a baby daughter with his partner Laura.
