deadmau5 Coming to Ricoh Arena - Premier Club

The world’s biggest electronic music artist is coming to the Ricoh Arena in December.

Canadian progressive house and electro house producer deadmau5 – aka Joel Zimmerman – will be playing the Jaguar Hall on Saturday, December 11 and will be joined by dubstep act Magnetic Man and BBC Radio 1’s Zane Lowe.

Tickets go on general sale on Friday, September 3 at 9am priced at £27.50 plus booking fee and are available from the CCFC ticket office at the Ricoh Arena or through Ticketmaster, AEG Live, Ticketweb, Seetickets.

Justine Hewitt, events manager at the Ricoh Arena, said the Ricoh was one of just six venues playing host to the hugely popular deadmau5.

She said: “We are delighted to have deadmau5 coming to the Jaguar Hall here at the Ricoh Arena for the Midlands leg of his UK tour.

“He is a global phenomenon in his particular genre of music and this is set to be a very popular tour. There are only five other venues on the tour and the Ricoh Arena is the only one in this region – it’s a major coup.

“Tickets will be available from Friday and we are expecting there to be a huge surge in interest because of the deadmau5’s global profile.”

Since 2005, deadmau5 has released ten albums and has won a host of awards – including four International Dance Music Awards in 2010. He has a radio station dedicated to him on the video game Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars and played at the 2010 Winter Olympic Games in Vancouver.
